On my plane ride the other day, I took the liberty to look at a stack of publications that has been growing, untouched, in my room for the past few months.  I caught up on 7x7 issues, one of which was this month’s.  I found it particularly relevant because just the night before friends had discussed some of the joys and struggles of living in SF over dinner.  It was this conversation that reminded me (because I am aware) that I’d been allowing feelings about the city I call home to sit, unexplored and unexpressed, inside me.  I was bombarded by a piece entitled “The Talk of the Town” that give snippets of articles that discussed outsider and insider views of the city as of late.  They were the kind of references that make me want to go read the original articles, which is good journalism.  More on this soon…
